Each slide contains a series of related simple sentences. Students read the series of sentences and combine the information in each sentence to write a beautifully written compound/complex/compound-complex sentence.

Volume 2 of this lesson series focuses on correctly combining two independent clauses together. There are two different kinds of slides: slides containing a series of related simple sentences, and slides containing sentence pairs. Students read the series of sentences and combine the information in each sentence to write a beautifully written sentence that uses a semicolon or a comma and conjunction.
